You often hear dropouts from BEngr but rarely from BSc, simply because the former is exponentially more difficult. I leave you to wonder why. BsE is better than BEc you learn more about science and engineering and pp with BsE are highly recommended in the industry. Sc is most valuable course when compared B. Because B. The sylabus completely depends on Pure Science. And they create it as Applied Science. So I Will Prefer all to do B. I feel the same way some what. I have chosen to follow Beng, he decided to do engineering course with different uni but with Bsc. That would require around hours a week especially for math and Eng modules. After comparing our modules, he only had covered basics, but managed to finish 4 modules 30 units each. I think Beng course is more indepth and focused on engineering problems and solutions. This is to be able to apply science and methods to real life situations.
Bsc focuses on selected science and will allow you to study science indepth. If you want to study engineering, than go for Eng, if you are inrested in Science selected or in general than the Bsc is your thing.

Basically there seem to be stricter requirements and regulation for BEng. Perhaps there could be a benefit to having a BSc if you intend to go purely into academia or research.

I remember the former CEO of Safaricom, Michael Joseph who said that recruiting a graduate from UoN for the job will require the company to spend a lot of resources for retraining the graduate in order to work, meaning they only know theory.
